lack of updates on my part, because of lack of computer.
my computer decided to eat shit, and now i have resorted to only using the computer lab, which is kinda good, bc i am forced to do work (or just watch the food network endlessly)
classes are going okay. I am looking for a place to live for next year, hopefully i can find one. otherwise, one of cassies friend has a place, even tho its kinda small, its $475 a month all utilities included so that is way cheaper than a lot of stuff i could find around here. I emailed a couple of people tho, so i am waiting for them to email me back, and I am also seeing if i can get a single on campus.
okay, i have to meet cassie for lunch, so ill really update later.

i hope everybody had a good new year, i am sure mine is going to be great...i picked my classes for next semester they are as follows:
hindu philosophy
gender, culture, representation
women, culture, society
a psych class, i am not sure which one yet
intro to linguistics anthropology...
its only 16 credits, but i am going to nail them.... i cant wait for school to start, i have been overworking myself but i have to buy lyle a bday present and stuff...
i am going to do this quiz, cuz i am super bored...

I am in my new apartment, woohoo. Last night i had people over, it was fun. We dont have all our furniture yet, but me and cassie are having a good time. I will seriously update tomorrow, but i am excited cuz i customized my journal, i didnt know it was so easy on the new syysterm thingy :) rock on dudes, major update coming |

yesterday, i had my first day off in like months! it was crazy, i didnt even know what to do with my time. I did go to class in the morning, and i was super excited, cuz i got a C+ on my bio exam, and i didnt even open the book or go to class, impressive, no?
me and lyle had a good day yesterday, we went to Fairway Golf Center, and we went mini golfing, and then we went to the driving range and hit balls. I sucked, of course, like i'd like hit the ball and it only went like a 50/100 feet. oh well. then we went to dairy queen (yum). Can somebody tell me why the dairy queen small is like super huge?
what else, what else? we decided we are going california for our summer vacation. yay.
california, here we come!

a good day yesterday with lyle. We were going to go to grounds for sculpture, but it was closed on mondays, so we decided to go to philly. We went to the Franklin Institute because we always wanted to go and it was fun. Some things were changed, but they had that thing where it shows you what you will look like when you're like 45, it was kinda weird lol. After, we drove around went shopping, bought lyle a jacket (cuz i'm nice like that!) Then, we went to dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe (b/c i've never been there). It was way better then going to class, thanks LJ. i will have pix to show everybody!
Of course, I didnt have a jacket, and we walked around for a while, now, i am sick, and i might have the flu. It hurts to move and i feel like im going to puke. I cant sleep so i am going to attempt to read, but my exam was changed to next tuesday, so ill prolly not and read cosmo instead. |

though i wish i went somewhere for break, it is nice to be home and not have to do anything. i do have to eventually study for my physiological psych exam, and i have to work like 9 shifts since break started and when it ends, but its okay. i like work, and everybody is cool. its nice to get away from drama sometimes you know. In two weeks, im training to waitress, so it should be exciting :) um, i havent been doing much lately, just working and going to bed early, watching tv. today is my first real day off, and i dont know what to do with myself. I might just read or something, there are so many options. i have so much going through my head right now, i wish i could tell somebody how i am feeling but i dont think anybody will understand. |

so, valentines day, the most loving day of the year. NOT IF YOU WORK AT A RESTAURANT. i did take out orders, and this other kid was using my number, and he didnt close all his checks, went home with $35 doing drinks while waiting in tips (how is that even possible when he only took like 10 drink orders) and left me -$20, which isnt even possible cuz i had atleast over $40 on tips doing carry out orders. pshhhhhh i am so pissed. but they said they would get it fixed cuz i did a good job and not to worry, so hopefully ill have like $100 waiting for me, my tips plus being tipped out.
hung out with greg, the real take out kid all night cuz they made me take out number dos. he's a nice guy. i always thought he was a major stoner cuz he just like stares off into space and looks so confused, but he's not. he was actually really smart and stuff.
after work, lyle picked me up and he had bought me 2 dozen pink and white roses. i thought it was really sweet of him. went to dinner at chili's cuz we didnt feel like waiting for some place nice, came home and watched tv together. i'm glad we're friends now, it feels really nice. i was so scared that if we got together and broke up we wouldnt be friends, but we are and i am so glad. he worrys about me, i know, but i am a smart girl and i wouldnt let anything bad happen to me. he also made me a cheesecake! it was so cute cuz he dyed it pink (my favorite color!) and put strawberrys and whipped creme on it. i wish i knew how to upload pictures so i could show you.
i hope everybody had a nice day even though i totally got screwed at work. now i must go shower and study for my first of many exams to come. blah

but last friday, i went to the yellowcard concert. met yellowcard, and the starting line. we could go into that, but im too lazy to type. all in all, it was fun ;)
went to work saturday, got my tip out for doing to go's and it was $40! yay. haha it sounded better before i typed it. i just thought it was going to be like $10 so i was excited. went out saturday to my first frat part of the semester. a little too many shots, but also fun.
a little confused about school. im just not happy like i used to be there. I dont know what to do, cuz its not like anything changed. i still like my roommates and stuff but its different now. |
